Welcome to Gray Eagle Pool and Tennis Club. Gray Eagle Pool and
Tennis Club is a private club that is owned and operated by R. N.
Thompson Development . Your annual Home Owner Association dues do not
help fund our facility. Membership dues are the only financial means
that our club has to operate on for the season.
The pool
will open Saturday, May 23rd. Join us for afternoon games and treats
from 1-3pm to kick off the 2009 summer season! Enclosed is information regarding pool and tennis memberships and recreational activities being offered this summer.
Memberships
The
membership fee for the 2009 season will be $325 for residents of Gray
Eagle , Idlewood and Sandstone neighborhoods. Membership fees will be
$400 for non-residents. Full time nannies/babysitters and grandparents
may be added to a family membership for an additional $50 per person.
Included in the membership fee, is the use of the facilities at ONLY
Gray Eagle which includes; the swimming pool and tennis courts. Two
complimentary guest passes per family membership are also included. An
Early Bird Discount Of $25 will be given to memberships received
BEFORE MAY 1, 2009! Residents are encouraged to join by May 1st !
After this date if we have not reached full capacity memberships will
be open to non-residents. Once we reach full capacity memberships will
no longer be accepted!
Membership cards and a picture ID
will be required to obtain entry to the pool. Membership cards will be
issued on OPENING DAY MAY 23rd. If you would like access to the tennis

Guest Fees
Guest fees are $5 per person for
ages 1 and up. Discounted guest passes are available 5 for $20. Guests
must be accompanied by a member!
Swim Lessons
We will offer private, semi-private and group lessons through out the
season. All lessons are arranged individually with the lifeguards. Sign
ups for group swim lessons will be on April 26th from 11-2 pm at The
Legends At Geist clubhouse. Sign ups for semi private and private
lessons will be available on May 23rd. Lessons are for members only.
Swim Team
I am happy to announce that we will have a swim team again this summer.
Sign ups will be on April 18th at The Legends At Geist clubhouse from
12-3 pm. The swim meet schedule will be available at that time. The
schedule for swim meets and practices will be similar to last season.
Practices will be on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. Swim meets
are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Participants don’t have to be
great swimmers, but must be able to swim the length of the pool. The
league that we compete in is for recreation and fun. This is a great
way to improve your child's swimming skills. The swim team is open to
members and non-members. The cost is $100 for members and $120 for
non-members. This Fee Does Include The Invitational Meet.
Tennis
Tennis memberships for tennis only are available for $100. This
includes use of the tennis courts, but not the swimming pool. Tennis
courts will be locked so only members will have access to the courts.
PLEASE DO NOT SHARE THE TENNIS CODE WITH NON- MEMBERS! CLOSE AND LOCK
THE GATE AND DISPOSE OF TRASH BEFORE LEAVING! NO ROLLERBLADES,
SKATEBOARDS, BIKES AND PETS ARE ALLOWED ON THE COURTS! Please follow
rules as we are trying to keep our courts in good condition !
I am happy to announce that Team Witsken will be offering tennis
lessons at our facility again this summer. Sign ups for tennis lessons
will be on April 18th from 12-3pm at The Legends At Geist clubhouse.

available for members and non-members.
Preschool Camp
We will be offering a summer day camp at The Legends at Geist clubhouse from 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday for children ages 3 -6 (Children must be 3 years old at the time of camp and must be potty trained). This fun filled day will include arts and crafts, games and swimming as well. Themes For The Summer Camps Are: Aloha Beach; Little Picasso's; A Star Spangled Banner; Pirates of the Caribbean; Christmas in July; Back to the Barnyard. Sign ups will be on April 18th from 12 - 3p.m. at The Legends at Geist clubhouse. Camp fees are $120 . For more information visit our website at www.ironwoodgc.com.
Clubhouse Rental
The Legends At Geist clubhouse is available for rent during the pool
season. There is a $150 rental fee for members and $200 rental for
nonmembers , plus a $100 damage/cleaning deposit . The $100 damage
deposit will be be returned if no damage is present and the facility is
left clean. This is a great place to host birthday parties or family
gatherings.
Swimming Pants for Infants and Toddlers
Please make sure swim diapers are COVERED WITH RUBBER PANTS! Infants
and toddlers will not be allowed into the pools without these. No one
enjoys having to close the pool down for super-chlorinating. Please
inform your guests of these guidelines if they have small children
visiting our pools.
Club Rules
A list of
club’s rules are posted on our website at www.grayeaglegolf.com. Please
take the time to review our rules with family members. The club’s
rules will also be posted on the bulletin board at the pool and at the
tennis courts. Any membership can be revoked for violation or
non-compliance with our club rules!
2009 Pool Season & Hours
- The 2009 pool season is from May 23rd - September 7th.
- The pool hours are 11am- 8pm except on holidays.
- The pool hours are 11am-6pm on Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day.
- Pool hours may change in August due to staffing conflicts.
